Christmas Campaign

Solidarity in the deepest sense requires a subjective attitude as much as it involves a co-responsibility for objective needs.
Solidarity demands “stepping out of the orbit of one’s own self-interest” (J. Habbermas).
“Making the firm and lasting decision to commit oneself to the ‘common good’, that is, to the good of all and of each individual” (John Paul II).

At first glance “Solidarity for Christmas 2011” campaign only addresses a one-dimensional need. But giving a bag of rice or a carton of milk means so much more than just food…they are also HOPE and SOLIDARITY!
